Booking and delivery

How fast can you deliver?

Call or text before noon and the trailer is usually in your driveway the same day anywhere in our core area. After noon, next morning. Saturdays and Sundays are fine with a day of notice.

Do I have to be home for delivery?

No. Tell us where you want it and leave a cone or a chalk mark if the spot is not obvious. We text a photo when it is set. Same for pickup.

How much notice do you need for pickup?

Text us the day before if you can. Same-day pickup usually works if you reach us before noon.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Yes, free, as long as we have not left the yard. If the truck is already on the way and there is nowhere to drop it, there is a [$75] trip charge.

Where will you put it?

Driveway is best. We need about [40 feet] of straight approach and [11 feet] of width to back in. Lawn or gravel is fine if it is firm. Street placement needs a permit in most cities, see below.

Sizes and what fits

Which size do I need?

A 10 yard holds about 3 to 4 pickup truck loads. Good for a garage, a basement, one room of flooring or a deck tear-down. A 20 yard is 6 to 8 loads. Whole-house cleanouts, a kitchen or bath gut, roofing, big landscaping.

When it is close, go 20. A second trip costs more than the size difference.

How full can I load it?

Level with the top rail. Nothing sticking up over the sides. We tarp every load and anything over the rail cannot ride legally on the road.

What are the dimensions?

10 yard: about 14 ft long × 7 ft wide × 4 ft tall. 20 yard: about 16 ft long × 7 ft wide × 6 ft tall. Both have a rear gate that swings open so you can walk heavy items in instead of lifting them over the side.

Price and weight

What does the price include?

Delivery, pickup, [3] rental days and [1.5] tons on the 10 yard or [2.5] tons on the 20 yard. There is no fuel fee, environmental fee or admin fee. The only extras are weight over the limit and days past the rental period, both listed on the pricing cards.

How is weight measured?

Every load crosses a certified scale at the landfill. You get the scale ticket with your receipt. Extra weight is $85 per ton, prorated to the tenth of a ton.

What is heavy?

Rough guide per cubic yard: household junk and furniture 150 to 300 lb. Drywall and lumber 400 to 500 lb. Shingles about 1,000 lb. Dirt, concrete, brick and tile 2,000 lb or more.

That means a 10 yard full of concrete weighs 10 tons, way over the limit. Tell us if you are tossing heavy material and we will quote it straight or send a smaller trailer with a heavy-debris rate.

Can I keep it longer?

Yes. Text before your last day and we extend at $25 a day. No penalty, we just need to know so we do not show up.

How do I pay?

Card at delivery, cash, or [Zelle / Venmo]. Contractors with repeat work can set up [net terms].

Rules and permits

Do I need a permit?

Not for a driveway. Most metro Detroit cities treat the trailer like a parked vehicle on private property. If it has to sit in the street, most cities require a right-of-way permit. Call your city's DPW or building department, or ask us and we will point you to the right office.

Will it damage my driveway?

No. The trailer rides on rubber tires and sits on jack pads. We put boards down on new asphalt, pavers or soft ground. No steel rails dragging across your concrete like a roll-off can.

What can I not put in?

Paint, stain and solvents. Tires. Car and lithium batteries. Propane tanks. Motor oil, gasoline and fuel. Refrigerators, freezers and AC units with freon still in them. Asbestos. Pesticides and pool chemicals. Medical waste. Anything wet, leaking or burning.

If the landfill rejects an item we have to pull it and dispose of it separately, and that cost gets passed on. Ask first and it is never a problem.

Can I throw away appliances?

Washers, dryers, stoves, dishwashers, water heaters: yes. Fridges, freezers, dehumidifiers and window AC units need the freon removed by a licensed tech first. Bring us the tag and they can go in.

Do you take yard waste?

Yes. Brush, branches, leaves, sod, stumps under [24 inches]. Keep it separate from construction debris if you can, it is cheaper to dump clean.
